Wow! What a beautiful artitectual structure...Both Josie and I could have spent ALL day here.
This 73 m / 234 feet high "Tower of Victory" was but in the 11th Century by Qutab-ud-din Aibak. This is the highest individual tower in the world. This tower has 378 steps to climb..sadly, for safety reasons this tower is no longer open to the public to climb.
The tower is at times opened at night as when the moon is full the shadow of a star can be seen on the base inside....

The Iron Pillar
This is one of the metallurgical interests of the world and for some 3.9 million tourist destination.
Traditionally people believe that if anyone standing in front of pillar with his back towards the column can encircle it with their arms, all his wishes will be fulfilled. The one thing noted by all is that it has no impurity, rust or age damage although believed to be 3500 years old.....WOW
All I can think is what stories could it tell us? What secrets has it seen? Totally blows me away!
